We live for those near death experiences,
thinking we'd die we were lucky to only have cried
about the fact that for a moment we felt alive.
So we woke up, that small crash changed our lives
and we spoke up, something inside us suddenly thrives.
Even though we're broke, we'll still promote what it felt like to be alive.
We live for those near death experiences,
so unaware we'd soon be gasping for air
sometimes mother nature just ain't fair.
So let's wake up, replace cloudy eyes with sunny skies
I'm fed up with accepting how no one else tries
to wake up with the blinds open-
not to wake up with their minds chosen.
We'd die for those near life experiences,
drenched in emotions like the waves in the oceans.
We felt our insides turning out,
we felt our lives turn upside down.
We live for those near death experiences,
thinking we'd die we were lucky to only have cried
about the fact that for a moment we felt alive.
